Her Story
Jenn Brothers is running for the U.S. House of Representatives in Pennsylvania’s 9th District to fight for a brighter, fairer future for all Americans.
Jenn’s diverse background spans private investigation, correctional law enforcement, higher education administration, banking, and entrepreneurship. With degrees in Political Science and Criminal Justice, she brings both real-world experience and a strong academic foundation to her candidacy.
Jenn is a devoted mother, proud neighbor, and member of the LGBTQIA+ community; Jenn is also a courageous rape survivor. Her life experiences have shaped her commitment to justice, equity, and opportunity for every Pennsylvanian.
Jenn pledges to bring both her expertise and her heart to Washington to be a true advocate for the people of Pennsylvania’s 9th District and the United States.
Our Vision and Goals
Infrastructure

Ensuring rural farmer assistance programs and grants cannot be taken from them due to political upheaval

Better roads and solid infrastructure that will last for decades

Access and reliability of clean drinking water for all Pennsylvanian homes

Expanding communication access including broadband, high-speed internet and telephones

Re-secure funding for national parks that stimulate our economy

Ensure that social media companies are transparent in their data collection and sharing while allowing the market to determine their viability
Healthcare

Expanding affordable healthcare access for all

Removing barriers placed by insurance companies and give more medical decisions back to the doctor and the patient

Expand support in rural areas for medical transport, hospitals, and clinics

Expanding options for mental health services and removing the stigma

Expand dental health services for low income individuals

Fight to lower the cost of prescription medication
Economic Policy

Supporting small businesses and provide resources and opportunities for minority-owned businesses to thrive

Holding big business accountable and make them pay their fair share

Reduce the economic gap between billionaires and the impoverished of our nation (which reduces crime rates)

Raise federal minimum wage for all to a livable wage

Bring back policies that remove barriers to otherwise qualified working candidates on basis of gender, ethnicity or sexual identity for workplace discrimination

Ensure safe working conditions and environments for all Americans
Education

By placing a focus on Public Education we are advocating for equality in all aspects of life, ensuring fairness and opportunity for everyone regardless of their economic status

Making sure teachers have what they need to be successful AND safe

Ensuring all teachers in any federally funded institution have qualifications and background checks to adequately educate and protect students (some private schools with vouchers do not require college degrees for teachers)

Free school lunches to ensure that all children are equipped to retain information effectively and engage in the classroom regardless of their economic status

Strengthening the process for families with children who have special needs to gain assistance (remove IEP roadblocks for qualified students)

Make it clear that higher education institutions are a vital part of our nations growth by investing in higher education for our citizens

Remove the ability of big banks to take advantage of our students through questionable lending practices

Ensure funding to afterschool programs such as 4-H and the arts are not at risk
Social Policy

Ensuring money given to grants for food banks cannot be taken for any reason.

Supporting communities that are most vulnerable including increased support for seniors to protect them from scams

Ensure cost of living increases for SSI are made more frequently

Strengthening VAWA to include enforcement

Strengthening efforts to eradicate human trafficking, sexual assault for men, women, nonbinary individuals and especially children

Strengthening efforts to eradicate domestic violence and make sure convicted criminals serve the time they deserve and stay off the streets

Recognition of an individual’s right to gender identity
